Hex Cheat - Suppose you create a pilot called cheat.
Exit to DOS and load up your hex editor. The file you
need to edit will be called cheat.ftr. Change the
following offsets:

4-7 77 Gives score of 2004328071
90-95 05 Gives training certificates
520-523 01 TIE Fighter Gold Medal
528-531 01 TIE Interceptor Gold Medal
536-539 01 TIE Bomber Gold Medal
544-547 01 TIE Advanced Gold Medal
552-555 01 TIE Gunboat Gold Medal
560-563 01 TIE Defender Gold Medal
616 00-06 Active Battle
617-623 03 Battle one to seven complete
637-643 00-05 Choose Mission
When attacking capital ships in a fighter that has no
shields such as the tie bomber, hold your joystick in
the lower right position so your ship does loops. The
enemy will not be able to shoot you and you can keep
going back and launching missiles and attacking with
your lasers.
