If you unlock all three endings using the blindfolding smoking
donkey "JASS", the bonus video features a pimp and Wu's concubine

Top Dogg rank: Successfully complete the Dogg Patrol mission with
an "A" rating to become a Top Dogg.
Bandit Never Been Apprehended mission: When the street crime
mission is to bust the criminal "Bandit Never Been Apprehended" be
ready to fire. Every time he pretends to surrender, he will fire.
Note: If you do not want the Good Cop rating to go down, take out
your guns and wait for him to pretend to give up and fire at you
once, so that you have a reason to kill him.
Dojo Attacker mission: Get to the EOD faster: Get in your car and
turn around. Take a left on to Third Street, and go past Hill
Street. Then, take Broadway Street and drive up to EOD.
Driving Test mission: Repeated dialogue: On the Con Girls episode,
in the normal introduction of mission four "The Driving Test", as
Nick enters "The Spot", he walks by one of the goons that vandalizes
his brother's dojo. The punk's speech is exactly the same as when he
is talking to Nick in the Vandal Wrath mission.
Prevent the West Side ripper from getting out of jail: The first
time you have to get the West Side Ripper, he will be trying to kill
a woman. Get his knife and throw it at his head. You will not have
to worry about him any more.
Escaping car pursuits: When you are supposed to flee from other
cars shooting at you, look for big open spaces like the Staples
Center parking lot and drive through them. The people chasing you
will stay on the road and go all the way around, giving you a good
chance to escape.
To escape easily while in pursuit, drive to the nearest highway. Try
to get a good lead from the enemies before you do this. Drive up the
branch of the highway, and keep straight. Do not leave the highway.
Enemies are not able to get on the highway when you do this. They
stick to the main road. Keep straight and eventually you will gain
your points and end the mission.
When trying to escape from an enemy in a Rush mission, take out the
cars that are chasing you and they will not follow. This takes about
thirty seconds.
To escape a chase, find a parking lot or a park and go into the
middle of it. Once there, enable the "bullet time" mode and shoot
out the tires of your opponents car. For a quick escape, wait until
they turn around and shoot their licensee plate to blow them up.
When you start, drive normally until the car chasing you is almost
bumper to bumper but next to you. Then, stop as soon as it seems it
is past your back wheels. Go into first person view in the car. Aim
for the tires and blow them out. When your ''bullet time'' runs out,
start aiming at the back of the car or shoot the engine. When the
car seems completely on fire, make your getaway.
On a mission where you have to get away from a certain person, turn
your car around and start shooting at the person who is chasing you.
If you blow them up, they cannot chase you anymore Note: Use
precision aim to shoot out their tires. Note: This will not work for
all getaway missions.
Blow up cars easily: Drive up behind a car and go into "bullet
time". Then, aim at the license plate and fire. Most of the time it
will take a single shot. For cargo trucks, aim under the passenger
side and slightly to the back and fire. This makes stopping street
racers and other people easy.
To explode a car in one hit, go into aim mode and wait until your
aiming crosshair appears. Then, shoot when it turns red. If it does
not turn red, then just shoot around the license plate until the car
explodes.
To blow up vehicles up in one shot aim at the following locations.
For cars, aim at the back at license plate. For pickup trucks, aim
at either side behind the doors. For trucks, aim for the gas tank
behind both doors.
Stop street racers: While following a speeding car or truck, aim
directly beneath the back bumper so that your bullet hits the bottom
of the car. Do this repeatedly and the car will explode. Note: Do
not do this if you are trying to get a Good Cop rating.
Information in this section was contributed by LaurieandJosh1.
Stop carjackings: When your enemy is escaping by stealing a getaway
car, kick them when they are pulling out the victim to stop them.
Getting enemies to surrender: When you are doing a crime patrol
involving people with guns, fire a warning shot and slowly walk up
to them. If they are still holding their gun, either walk up to them
and wait until they shoot you, or do a neutralized shot.
Drive around impound lot: In the impound lot where you can choose
from the four cars you unlock, honk the horn a few times, then go in
reverse before you hit the gas and you can around the lot.
Drive automatically: When you are on a mission where you need to
drive on the world map, do not press any buttons. Nick will start
driving like the other cars until you take over.
Bashing through walls: There is a way to bash through the walls
that crumble when you attack them. Simply drive at them at a very
high speed so that your car drives straight through before the
crumbling of the wall is over. This is useful when being chased by
gangsters, cops, etc., as they cannot get through.
Flying cars: Flip a car by a bridge and it will fly into the air
and give you a score for highest air, etc.
Slide across hoods: To do this, you must be running at a medium
speed (if running at full speed, nick will jump over the car). Run
until your are right next to the car then press Jump. Nick will
slide across the hood. This works on any vehicle.
Spotting illegal drugs: To avoid wasting time frisking innocents,
look for people that walk differently.
Frisk people who do not look at you when they walk past.
More damage: When an opponent is dazed, you can hit them hard into
the wall with a finisher to do even more damage.
Deadly knife throw: In some situations when a enemy drops a knife,
you can pick it and throw it. If thrown correctly, it will impale
their forehead, killing them.
Impale enemies: Use the following trick to impale someone with a
blade, syringe, etc. First, get your opponents health down to the
point where it is flashing. Then, pick up a melee weapon that can
impale someone and throw it directly at them. Look at your opponent,
and they will have a melee weapon stuck in there head.
Restore health: Learn where the impound garages are located. When
you get low on health, just visit the garage. You will not only get
a fresh car, your health will be full again.
Easy knock out: When chasing an opponent, shoot them with a weak
gun a few times until they are almost dead. Put away your guns and
fight when you catch up to them. This makes it easier to defeat an
enemy.
Increasing Cop rank: Go around checking everyone for drugs and
weapons to get +1 Good Cop.
Go to the Hancock Park area in the middle of the map. On a street
corner at 2nd and Citrus Ave., you can frisk just about anyone close
to or moving to the intersection and almost always finds drugs or
weapons on them.
Go to Ozone Ave. in Venice. Just about every person there will have
weapons or drugs.
Go to 4th and Hill. Just about everyone there has drugs or guns.
To increase your Good or Bad Cop rank easily, replay a stealth
mission and choose your attack accordingly.
To increase your Good Cop rank, walk on any street near from
somebody. If they look at you, it means that they are clean for
drugs or weapons. If they do not look, they have illegal things like
guns or drugs. Arrest them and you will hear a sound of good cop.
Note: Do not try this with people who are talking by a phone.
There is a street where almost all of the people you arrest will
either be carrying drugs or weapons. To get there, take Highway 10
east or until you get to where Highway 10 and Highway 405 cross
over. It will be near the east side of the map. Take Highway 405
south. When you merge with Highway 405, take the very first road off
Highway 405. It will be backwards, but it should lead to National
Blvd. When you get off Highway 405, you should turn left. After you
pass Sawtelle Blvd., go down until you are about slightly halfway
past Sawtelle Blvd. Get out of your car and frisk someone. They
should have drugs or weapons.
Play a stealth mission with a lot of people and use only stun
attacks, then complete the stage. Wait until the auto save is
finished. Then, exit to the main menu and resume the game. Play the
stealth mission again. Repeat until you get the desired good cop
rank.
In the Hancock Park area on Highland Blvd. between 3rd and 2nd
Street, mostly everyone has illegal drugs or weapons. The street is
located just above the "O: in Hancock Park on the map.
In Hancock Park on Highland Blvd., between the white picket fence
and the green shrubs, most people you stop will have illegal drugs
and guns, even those on their cell phones.
On Second Street between Irving Bvld. and Lorraine Blvd., most
everyone you stop will have drugs or guns.
Start a fight with a pedestrian, and when you stun them, knock them
over with a special move. Before they get up, take out your guns.
Once they are standing, they will surrender and you can go in for
the arrest. Note: this will not work if the pedestrian is carrying a
gun; frisk them before you start fighting.
If you are in Venice, immediately start driving towards the
apartments by the ocean (refer to the map). These streets are
somewhat small, so they may be easy to miss. Drive around and you
will find a street called Dudley. Everybody there is carrying drugs
or weapons. Note: Dudley is by Ozone.
Everyone along Ocean View in Venice, at the far southwest on the
map, is carrying drugs or weapons. You can go up each street along
Ocean View up to one block and everyone there will have something
illegal on them. Also, armed muggers do not fight back on those
streets. Just draw your gun and they will drop their weapon.
After you finish a Street Crime on foot, frisk the civilians on the
street that the crime was on. Most of your suspects will have
something.
To get +99 Good Cop, go to the coastline of Santa Monica to a street
named Dudley Avenue. Every person on the lower half of the street
will have drugs or weapons. Keep arresting everyone and you will
have +99 Good Cop.
Everyone in the Ocean View will have drugs or some kind of illegal
weapons.
Go to Dudley Avenue. Everyone there will have drugs or weapons.
Decreasing Cop rank: Simply start killing people. When you kill
about thirty people, the S.W.A.T. team comes after you.
Stay in parking garage: When you are in the parking garage and
about to get a car, instead of pressing the gas, press reverse. You
can stay in the garage with your car instead of leaving to the
street. You can do whatever you want to in the garage.
Reckless driving: To drive very recklessly, enter a vehicle with
hard power (bus, truck etc.). Drive around and crash many cars. When
you crash about twenty-five cars, you will soon jump and crash. Get
out of your vehicle and shoot it in the back. You will now have a
reckless driving and killing rating; get many bad cop ratings; or
get killed very easily and loose about two shields.
Reverse hydraulics: Shoot out both back tires of the selected
vehicle and reverse.
S.W.A.T. team: To get the S.W.A.T. team on you, kill a number of
civilians (about thirty). The S.W.A.T. team will come after you in
black vans.
Break fence: If you are stuck behind a fence that can be broken but
do not have a car to break it with, Run at it and press B. This will
cause you to dive through the fence, breaking it and freeing
yourself.
Get past fence: When in a blocked off place with a fence on the
other side, go up to it and face it. Do not press any buttons. The
game will put you back on the other side within five seconds. It is
easier to do this than hit the fence and not get through.
Defeating General Kim: To defeat General Kim on the building
rooftop, start the fight by running up to him. Either clothesline or
slide kick him. He may block it, but there may a chance to hit him.
After this, start kicking or punching him. He will block most of
your attacks, but you will eventually throw a successful punch or
kick. Then, keep attacking with that same attack until he gets dazed
or starts blocking. If he blocks, switch attacks (for example, from
punches to kicks or vice versa). Keep attacking and doing the same
thing. When he gets dazed, you can either grapple him or do a
finishing move. He may start to attack when you start a new combo or
may attack you when you switch between attacks; be ready to block
when he does this. It is unlikely that he will land a successful
attack in the middle of your combo, as you will have struck first.
Take advantage of this. If you want to do a finishing move, make
sure that you do it near the walls so that it inflicts more damage.
When he is on the floor, try stomping on him. You may miss most of
the time but you may land a successful stomp in. It is also ideal to
have a Good Cop rating when fighting him.
To defeat General Kim on the airport runway, you must have the
highest Good Cop rating. After getting this, you can fight in a
similar way as you did on the building rooftop. Your goal is to get
him as dizzy as possible. When you start the fight, look around the
area for an iron pipe. When you find one, try attacking him with it
while trying to defend yourself. When he gets dizzy, do the move
where Nick swings the pipe over the head. It may do some extra
damage, although you may not see the difference. Keep repeating this
until the fight is over.
Defeating ancient Wu's concubine: The easiest way to defeat ancient
Wu's concubine is to run to the ropes and do a running attack. The
rope will break. Go back and fight the concubine. Force them to
fight where you broke the ropes and you can hit them off.
Defeating Wu's dragon: When the dragon is about to use his fire
attack, use you manual aim to shoot it in the mouth, thus avoiding
its fire and tail attacks.
To kill Wu's dragon while he is swimming in lava, switch to
manual-aim. Aim for the dragon's eye. This will hurt him.
Defeating zombie during Wu's mission: After beating up the chefs, a
zombie will appear. Go near a stove and kick it. Hopefully, you have
not destroyed it while fighting the chefs. The stove will explode
and both of you will catch fire. The zombie will get greater damage
than you. Repeat this with the second stove. If the zombie is still
alive, knock him into the fire. Note: It is not possible to kill the
zombie with physical attacks.
Damage multiple enemies: When fighting multiple enemies, kicking
will damage more then one when you get the chance. Also, you can
send enemies flying at other ones. This will damage the one who just
got another person thrown at them.
Jetting Away mission: Easy completion: When chasing the plane with
Rocky, get behind it and go into "precision targeting". Shoot the
engines until they explode, then the whole plane will blow up.
Slaughterhouse mission: Cannibals: While walking around this
mission, you will eventually see human bodies on the conveyor belt.
If you shoot a body, all extra ice will be blown away.
Spa Infiltration mission: Ten good deeds: Good judo chop (Good Cop)
everybody on the level. At the boiler room, go in the middle and
chop the man in the chair. Go around the boiler and chop the guard.
At the end of the level, go to your right and chop the man in the
chair, then go to the left and chop that man, being careful not to
hit any buckets. Then, end the level and repeat.
Drift location: The Staples Center parking lot is the perfect place
to drift. It is very big and open.
Get into the airport landing strip: One of the car parks at Airport
Ave. has a little gap at the far left side. Go through the gap and
you will be in the airport landing strip.
Handling hostage situations: Run over the two people slightly so
that you do not kill them, but do enough damage so that they fall.
Easy crime solving: The Parole Violator is usually the easiest,
especially if you use the sirens.
Get chased: If you want to get chased by the S.W.A.T., pimps,
mobsters, gangsters, etc., you must kill about thirty people,
However, there an easier way to do it. While on patrol and you see a
police officer chasing a car, explode the car, arrest the perp, then
kill the cop. After that, just kill about five people, and mobsters,
pimps, or the S.W.A.T. will be after you. Note: You can also kill
the cops that are walking around the streets.
Vigilante 8 reference: During one of the street crimes, the woman
in the radio says that a stunt car has been stolen during the
shooting of Vigilante 8: The Movie. Vigilante 8 was a game done by
Activision for the Nintendo 64 and PlayStation.
Movie reference: In the game, there is a billboard that reads "True
Crime: Streets Of L.A.: The Movie, Fall 2005" on 21st street.
Rosa reference: Under one of the highway overpasses, you can see
your partner's name, Rosa, in graffiti on the wall.
Cheat references: In several parts of the city, there is graffiti
on the walls, usually spelling people's "tags". When you find one,
start a new game and enter it as a license plate to unlock an
alternate character in that game.
Rockstar spoof: There is a billboard similar to the one announcing
the 2005 movie. However, this one has a J with a star similar to the
logo for Rockstar games. The billboard also says "Jockstrap" in a
similar font to that of the Rockstar logo. The picture on the
billboard that is of a pink jockstrap.
Business spoofs: Some places throughout the game are spoofs of real
businesses. For example "OK Price" and "Burger&Fries" are spoofs of
"Best Buy" and "Burger King".
National Security reference: When you drive near highways, you will
see a white (sometimes black) Ford Crown Victoria (with triangle
back-lights). Look closely at the license plate. You will sometimes
see the plate reading 2CQN654. This was a license plate from the
movie National Security at the ending, when the cop asks for the
license plate number.
