Quick Tips:
Starting New Game
Build up your settlement in the following stages:
To successfully develop your settlement and defend it
you will need to build up your resources at a faster
pace than your opponent. The key strategy is to
have a consistent flow of building materials. This
should be your highest priority at the beginning of your
campaign. Get this right and you don’t have to wait
around for material to become available before you can
proceed any further.

* Build a woodcutter hut close to a lot
of mature trees.
* Build a sawmill close to the woodcutter's hut.
* Build a stonecutter hut close to an area with a lot of
stone.
* Build a forester hut close to the woodcutter's hut.
Leave enough free space around the forester's hut for
him to plant trees. Best to locate the forester's hut
in an area that you can't build primary buildings on.
* Note: Use a small tower to expand your available land
area as needed. Demolish small towers closer to the
borders in the early stages. This will free up some much
needed resources.
* Build a second woodcutter's hut close to the forester
hut. Try to have the forester hut in between both
woodcutter huts. Leave enough land space for planting of
trees.
* Build a second stonecutter hut.
* Build a tool smith workshop. This is need first in the
event you ran out of hammer. You can't build this later
if you don't have a hammer for the tool smith to occupy
the workshop and it will be game over.
* Build an Iron smelter. Same reason as above.
* Build a medium resident to get more helpers for faster
building of your settlement.
* Build 1 woodcutter, forester, sawmill and another
woodcutter. Preferable within the vicinity of the first
ones.
* Now you have enough sustainable raw material to build
other buildings fast. |

of the following to get their corresponding effect;
