To use the wrestlers alternate outfits, simply hold down
L2 while choosing your wrestler. For more costumes, make
sure your difficulty is set on Medium or Hard, then
follow the instructions below. To unlock Goldust's
hidden outfits (Marilyn Dust and Dusty Dust), win the
WWF title in Challenge mode with him.
Beans Mode: To access Beans Mode, win the World Title
with Mosh on Medium difficulty.
Big Heads: Beat the Challenge mode with the British
Bulldog.
Bonus Wrestlers: To play as Dude Love and Cactus Jack,
win the title with Mankind at medium difficulty
To play as Sue the ring girl, win the World Title with
Bret Hart or Owen Hart on Medium Difficulty.
To play as the Trainer, enter Training mode.
Cheat Menu: When the elevator is going up, press L1,
then press R1 to descend into the basement. This is
where your cheat codes will appear once you've unlocked
them.
Ego Mode: For Ego Mode, win the World Title with Ahmed
Johnson on Medium difficulty. On Ego mode, your Head
gets bigger and bigger as you cause more damage to your
opponent.
Extra Stone Cold Steve Austin Outfits: To obtain the
"Extra Cold" feature, simply beat the game with Stone
Cold Steve Austin. This will give you access to two
additional outfits. To pick them, Hold the appropriate
shoulder button while choosing him.
L1=Regular Outfit (Black tights)
L2=Alternate Outfit (Tights and 3:16 vest)
R1=Extra Outfit 1 (Jeans and 3:16 vest)
R2=Extra Outfit 2 (Jeans and 3:16 shirt)
Ladies Night: To create a female
wrestler, complete challenge mode with Triple H or Shawn
Michaels.
No Meters: To turn off all meters, beat the Challenge
mode with the Undertaker.
No Wimps Mode: To get the "No Wimps Mode", which turns
off all blocking, win the title with Ken Shamrock on
medium or hard modes.
Outside Interference - To call for a
certain wrestler to run in during a match, hold all four
top buttons (L1+L2+R1+R2) and press a direction + a
button. Each combination of a direction and a button
corresponds to each of the 16 wrestlers in the game.
Note: it becomes a Handicap match with you and whoever
you called in against your opponent, but no matter what
happens, your opponent will win by Disqualification.
Also, it can only be done in a 1-on-1 VS Match.

"Press Start" appears on the opening screen. Hold L1 +
L2 + R1 + R2 and press Down + X, Left + Square, Up +
Triangle, Right + Circle. Release L1 + L2 + R1 + R2,
then press Down + X, Left + Square, Up + Triangle, Right
+ Circle. Repeat the entire code again, then press L1 +
L2, R1 + R2, L1 +L2 + R1 + R2. The phrase "Movie 1" will
appear to confirm correct code entry. Press X to view
this movie, or press Up + X to view the next FMV
sequence.
View FMV sequences (alternate): Press Up + Triangle,
Right + Circle, Down + X, Left + Square, Left + Square,

View unlocked cheats: Press L1 + R1
in the elevator to list the hidden features and modes
that have been successfully unlocked as described below.
Note: When unlocking the cheats, do not change
difficulty settings during the challenge.
Play as Cactus and Dude feature: Win
WWF title in challenge mode with Mankind under the
medium or hard difficulty level. Cactus Jack and Dude
Love will now be available on the character selection
screen.
Play as Trainer feature: Enter training mode and select
"Custom" followed by "Trainer" at the character
selection screen.
Play as Sue feature: Win the WWF title in challenge
mode with Bret Hart or Own Hart under the medium or hard
difficulty level. Sue the ring girl will now be
available as a custom wrestler.
New Duds feature: Win the WWF title in challenge mode
with the Kane under the hard difficulty level.
Additional shirts, jackets, masks, pants, and more
clothes will be available in creation mode.
Extra Gold feature: Win the WWF title in challenge mode
with Goldust under the medium or hard difficulty levels.
Then, hold L2, R1 or R2 while selecting Goldust on the
character selection screen to more costumes, including
the MarilynDust and DustyDust versions.
Extra Cold feature: Win the WWF title with Stone Cold
under the medium or hard difficulty levels. Then,
highlight Stone Cold on the character selection screen
and press L2, R1, or R2 for additional costumes (black
vest and jeans; Austin 3:16 t-shirt and jeans).
RattleSnake feature: Win the WWF title in challenge
mode with a user-created wrestler under the hard
difficulty level. A pumped-up Steve Austin may now be
selected as a custom character.
Ladies night feature: Win the WWF title in challenge
mode with H H H or Shawn Michaels under the medium or
hard difficulty levels. The "Female" body type may now
be selected under creation mode.
No meters mode: Win the WWF title in
challenge mode with the Undertaker under the medium or
hard difficulty level.
Big head mode: Win the WWF title in challenge mode with
British Bulldog or The Rock under the medium or hard
difficulty level.
No wimps mode: Win the WWF title in challenge mode with
Ken Shamrock or Farooq under the medium or hard
difficulty level. Blocking is disabled when this mode is
active.
Bean mode: Win the WWF title in challenge mode with
Mosh or Thrasher under the medium or hard difficulty
level. Belching and farting is enabled with this mode.
Ego mode: Win the WWF title in challenge mode with
Ahmed Johnson under the medium or hard difficulty level.
Crowd cheers will increase the size of the wrestler's
head, while boos will make it shrink.
Random wrestler: Hold Up and press Block on the
character selection screen.
Alternate costumes: Hold L2 and select a wrestler at
the character selection screen under medium or hard
difficulty levels.
Angry crowd: Start a match with no CPU players and just
leave the wrestlers standing without moving or
wrestling. The crowd will get extremely angry, and J.R.
and Vince will add some funny commentary.
Easy Ring out: When the match begins simply climb down
from the ring. Your opponent will always follow. Get
your opponent to follow your wrestler around outside of
the ring to run the timer down. Do not get too far away
or your opponent will climb back into the ring. Once the
timer reaches 4 or 5 seconds quickly hit your opponent
repeatedly until he becomes stunned. Jump back on the
mat with only a second or two to spare and your
character should win by ring out.
Easy attribute points: Earn attribute points for a
created character in the usual way. Choose to edit your
custom character and save. Load the created character
again, then leave the "Create A Wrestler" screen.
Immediately enter the "Create A Wrestler" screen again,
choose to make a character. The new character should
have the same amount of attribute points as the saved
character. Save the new character under a different
file.
Taunts: Each wrestler can taunt his opponent or show
off during a match with the following:
Taunt 1 - Press Punch + Block
Taunt 2 - Press Tie Up + Kick
Finishing moves: To execute a
finishing move, your opponent's energy bar must be in
the red.
