How to Hit Home Runs:-
HOLD L1 + L2 + R1 + R2 and press Triangle, Square, Triangle, Circle, X,
Square, Left, Right. A thump sound will be heard if done correctly.
Another way to hit homeruns is by holding UP and pressing SQUARE (power
swing. You might not hit one every at bat, but you can hit a bunch. I hit
73 HRs (with 1 batter) in a HR Derby using this code.
Changing View:
Hold L1 + L2 + R1 + R2 then press Right, Left, Up, Down, Right, Left. Now
you can press R2 to zoom in or L2 to zoom out. Press Square to lower the
camera. Press Triangle to raise the camera. Hold L1 and use the D-pad to
increase the speed at which the camera moves.
EA Dream Team:
After selecting the Single Game Option at the main menu, go to the team
select screen and press Left, Right (Do this 6 times). Correct code entry
is confirmed by the phrase "Triple Play Baseball". This team consist of
the game's developers with super attributes.
EA Dreamteam for HR Challenge:
At the screen where you choose your player for the HR challenge, HOLD R1
and L1 for about 5 seconds. You will hear "triple play baseball" if done
correctly. This code works without a doubt.
Strike out Batter - Hold L1 + L2 + R1 + R2 and press Up, Down, Triangle,
Square, Triangle, Circle, X, Square.
Strike Out Batter (hint) - This isn't a code but a good way to strike
out the batter if you can't get the code above right. ALWAYS pitch the
ball low and away the first 2 pitches then the last one pitch it inside
but LOW
Huge Field - At the player creation screen put in YELLOW STONE as the
name. The field will now be larger and walls higher.
Get Various Announcer Comments - Enter these codes during gameplay
Weather - Hold L1 + L2 + R1 + R2 and press X, Down, Triangle, Up.
Additional batter information - Hold L1 + L2 + R1 + R2 and press Left,
Square, Up, Triangle. Note: This only effects some players.
Historical commentary - Hold L1 + L2 + R1 + R2 and press Up, Triangle,
Right, Circle.
Trivia - Hold L1 + L2 + R1 + R2 and press Down, X, Right, Circle.
Easy Pop Out (hint):- This isn't really a code but it works. When you are
pitching and you get into a jam and can't get out of the inning do this:
Choose to pitch a fastball. Then at the Pitch Location
box press UP + X. This will throw a high fastball and the batter will
usually pop the ball up so you can get an EASY POP OUT!
