Before trying the cheats below, go to the Tournament mode and enter the
password: TSYBNS
Power Horn:
When you have selected your track, choose which car you want to race
with. After selecting your car HOLD (L1 and UP) and (LEFT and SQUARE and
CIRCLE). Hold this until you see the staging lights. Once the staging
lights appear, you will hear a gun shot and your opponent will be blown
off the track.
You may have to try this a few times to get it right, but its a lot of fun
to HONK YOUR HORN and blow the patrol car off the track!
Secret Track: Once the password has been entered just scroll to the
"Lost Vegas" track. It is on the normal selection screen.
Arcade Mode: Go to the lap selection/segment view and hold L1 and R1.
Rally Mode: With the selected track, hold down the L1 and R1 buttons.
Secret Car: At the car selection screen, hold the L1 and R1 buttons.
Weight Shifting:
As usual enter the tournament password (TSYBNS). When you select your
car, go to the car showcase option and select it. When it comes up, go the
the mechanical option and select it. When it starts select next slide and
you should see the chassis view of the car. Press L1 and arrows will
appear on the left side to show added weight to the front of the car.
Pressing R1 will add weight to the rear of the car. You have to fiddle
with the weights to find the proper balance (speed vs. better handling).
You can add up to eight arrows of weight to each end.
After you enter the password tsybns at the tournament mode go to the head
to head mode and highlight it. Then hold L1 + R1 to make it no-mercy mode.
And when ever you pick your car go to the car showcase and then go to
mechanical. Then go to next slide (after you click on it, it should show
the chassis). Now press L1 to add weight to the back or R1 to add weight
to the front.
When in a race, simply press the down button for a few seconds, and all
on screen information will disappear (tacko, speedo, map etc.) When
playing in two player mode both players must do this. In my opinion it's
even more fun to race when just having a clean screen, it feels a bit more
realistic in a way.
To race on the moon enter spkshc for your password and go to rusty
springs and hold TRIANGLE, R1, L1
Go to tournament, put in password, SPKSDC press the square, or x. When you
get to pick stage go to the Rusty Springs and hold down L1, L2, R1, R2.To
go to Oasis. Hold triangle and hold L1, L2, R1, R2 to get to the MOON Go
to select car and hold L1, L2, R1, R2 to get Warrior car. Go to were it
says 4 laps or whatever the number is. Hold down L1, L2, R1, R2 to get
Arcade Mode. Go to were it says what kind of track it is and hold down L1,
L2, R1, R2 to get Rally. |
