Tips -
On sharp turns, you can often make up time by cutting across the grass on
the inside of the turn. But at high speeds and in rear-wheel-drive cars,
you risk spinning. You'll need to learn the tracks to win, but few turns
will require a lower gear than third. A couple practice laps before a race
and you should be good to go. You can brake impossibly late, so if you're
in a long line of cars and can't see the next turn, wait for them to
brake, pass a few, and then hit the anchors. An arrow will indicate a car
that's about to overtake. It's pretty easy to block opponents consistently
with a little practice.
As in Gran Turismo, you can go into turns way too fast and bounce other
cars out of your path.
Extra power - Enter "GRUNTSOME" as a code.
Nitro button - Enter "GLYCERINE" as a code, then press L1 during a game
for a nitro boost.
Invincible car - Enter "MADCAB" as a code.
Chrome cars - Enter "T2" as a code.
70's springs - Enter "VANISHING" as a code.
Low gravity - Enter "EUROPA" as a code.
Mirror mode - Enter "WEFLIPPED" as a code.
Race backwards - Enter "REARFEAR" as a code.
Blurred vision - Enter "ETHANOL" as a code.
Double height - Enter "TWINPEAKS" as a code.
Exploding track curbs - Enter "KRAZYKERBS" as a code.
Audi TT - Collect 15 total points in championship mode.
Ford mustang GT - Collect 30 total points in championship mode.
