Hints:
To get the three last Witches and Wizards cards. When in
Gringotts bank on the minecarts, there will be certain
directions which have a gem behind the coins, if you
collect all the coins, the gems will appear, collect all
of these as well and you will be rewarded with a card.
On the knuts level there are 65 gems to collect, on the
sickle level there are 55, and on the galleon level
there are 65! It's a lot of work and took me ages, but
worth doing, as with 17 cards you get an alternative
ending.

Alternate Ending:- When you have beat the game the
credits will start, and run for several minutes. When
the credits are finished you will told who truly has one
the Hogwarts House Cup and if you have collected all 17
Famous Witches and Wizards cards the game will give you
an different ending.
Climbing bookshelves:- If you approach a bookshelf and
find that you cannot climb it, press Square on a piece
of a wall that is different or lighter color.
Get Extra Coins:- While in Gringotts Wizard Bank, In
the Galleon roller coaster ride turn upside down after
the few wooden traps to get as many coins as possible.

Unlock all doors. Pause the game and press, up,
right, down, left, L2, R1.
Bertie Bott's Beans - Collect the following amount
of "Bertie Bott's Every Flavour Beans" to unlock an item
behind a portrait at Hogwarts:
50 Yellow Beans: Nimbus Two Thousand
70 Blue Beans : Quidditch Armour
80 Green Beans: Famous Witches And Wizards Card
100 Red Beans: Advanced Flipendo Knockback Jinx
The Giant Chessboard - When you come to the giant
chessboards near the end where you have to get the
pieces to kill each other to win, do this. First Board
(the one with green fire): start on the right square: go
up, diagonal up-left, diagonal down-right, diagonal
down-left. Second board (the one with blue fire): start
on left square: go up, diagonal down-right, left. Third
Board (the one with red fire): start on left: go left,
diagonal up-left, diagonal up-left, right, diagonal
down-right.
Control Main Menu - At the main menu, press Triangle to
cause a lightning strike.
Hidden passages - There are secret passages out in the
hogwarts grounds (looks like a discolored section of
wall).
If you walk outside the school and you see a wall that
is different than the other walls you must go right in
front of that wall and press square and then that wall
will open.
Feather - To get the feather at Eylops owl emporium,
pick up the the treats and throw them at the owl in the
center.
At the main menu press triangle to cast a lightning
strike. Some walls can be climbed if they are near
bookshelves and are a different colour.
Hidden Witches and Wizards Cards - To get witches and
wizards cards go to the forest and look for different
coloered walls. Go up to them and press square. When you
are inside look up in the little foyer thing and hit the
card with the flipendo jinx.
When your inside the castle go to the dungeons and go
through the middle door. Use your verdimiiluos spell to
get the floating platforms. Run real fast to the ledge
on the opposite side and go through the door. When you
go through go up to all the bookcases (even the one on
the ledge) and press square. Inside you will meet Nearly
Headless Nick and he will give you a challenge beat it
and you will get witches and wizards cards. Then go
through the other door and do the same thing you did
before.
Their are 11 secret locations where you can get wizard
cards. Indoors look for thin bookcases.
In the Forbidden Corridor Look for areas in corridors in
between tasks/rooms. In Castle Grounds look for diffrent
colour blocks on the walls. To open the areas simply
press square.
When you have completed flying lesson and attend a
different class, go back to the flying lesson. Go in and
catch all the "glowing butterflies". You will get 20 or
25 house points.
Opening bookshelves - At Hogwarts there are bookshelves
you can open and get prizes.
There are 2 in the Great Foyer. There is also 1 outside
the Gryffindor Common Room. The nearest bookshelf to the
portrait of the Fat Lady can open up.
Devil's Snare - First - Hit the tentacle that turns
light green [quickly] until all of them [except the
middle] are gone.
Second - Run around on the green part of the floor and
do not get hit. After the middle tentacle misses you,
hit it with a charged
Flipendo.
When you get to the part with the Devil's Snare, hit all
of the light green tentacles and they will wilt and
disappear. If you hit a dark green one, they will all
grow back. Then, you must defeat the big tentacle in the
middle.
Potion lesson - When going through the potion lesson,
you will be approached by a dark figure. It will make
you fall down a level. When you get to the part with the
bubbles, go to the top level of the room. Press Square
to go into a room where Nearly Headless Nick is. He will
tell you to push the cauldrons. When you complete this
task, he will give you a Famous Wizards And Witches
Card. Go out of the room, then enter again. Do the same
thing with him. Each time you do this, he will give you
a different Wizards And Witches Card. Also, check out
the other bookcases in the castle that you cannot climb.
Defeating Malfoy - You will face Malfoy in the entrance
hall. To defeat him, throw back any Wizard Crackers he
throws at you. Throw enough and he will die. Watch out
for Crabbe and Goyle, who will defend him.
Defeating Voldemort - After drinking the Ice Potion, you
will go in a room with four suits of armor. The cloaked
figure will say I wondered whether I'd be meeting you
here Potter. You're far too inquisitive to remain among
the living. You must defeat the four suits of armor,
then you will face a large suit of armor. Defeat it, but
avoid its sword's ray. Rocks will fall, including one
that takes off Quirrels Cloak. He will then say Damn you
Potter. But, Master. it wasn't my fault. You will cross
the bridge, drink the Wiggenweld Potion, and follow him
into the room. The Mirror Of Erised will give you the
Stone. Press Square to escape the ropes and Flipendo the
poles. Then, shoot Flipendo twice inside the mirror
after avoiding his green spells. He will pin you on the
ground. Press Square to power up. Press X when prompted.
After awhile, he will scream and you have won.
Defeating the last Troll - Run as fast as you can until
you get you get to an object that can be used with
Wingardium Leviosa. Then, use the Charm, move it to the
side, and let it drop. When it gets to thebottom, press
Triangle. Keep doing this until all of the objects are
on the side and you should see a hole. Jump over the
hole and wait until the Troll falls in. Then, go to the
door.
Keeping Troll asleep - When you are in the dungeons for
Snape's class, you will meet a sleeping Troll. In order
to keep the Troll asleep, you must Wingardium Leviosa
the basket with the key onto the haystack next to it.
Grabbing the Snitch - When the Snitch is about an inch
away from your hand, grab it. This may require a few
attempts.
Behind bookshelves - Behind one bookshelf you have to
shoot pumpkins, cauldrons, and chocolate frogs with your
Flipendo. You will have to shoot them back for a
Slytherin. This is located in the Slytherin door across
from your door in the entrance hall.
Find secret areas - If there is a bookshelf that you
cannot climb on, press Square and it will open. You will
find different things that will help you inside. Also,
there are parts on the castle walls outside that can be
opened. To tell if the wall can be opened, it will be a
lighter color. Press Square to open it.
In the last part of the game, after defeating the
Devil's Snare and several other tasks, you will pass
through a passage onto the next task. In these passages
are secret doors, on the right hand side of the wall.
They are a slightly lighter color than the rest of the
wall. To get inside them, press Square. Inside will be
Chocolate Frogs and a book that lets you save the game.
You can go through the two castle walls that connect to
the right of the entrance to Gargoyle's Gate, on your
way to the Fire Seeds. When you get to the small
cemented area, press Triangle and look straight up.
There should be a witch or wizard card there. To get it,
aim a Flipendo at the card.
When you get to the Dark Forest, go to the clearing
where you Incendio the steps up to the clearing where
Voldemort is located. Go the other way and follow that
path. When you get to a door, go through to find beans.
Press Triangle and look up to find a witch or wizard
card. To get it, cast a Flipendo at the card.
When you first enter the Dark Forest after you talk to
Hagrid, go to the left of the clearing. There should be
a wall of trees that look differently than the others.
Cast a Flipendo at it to get through. There should be
another one after it. Do the same to get more beans.
There is a bookshelf by where Fred and George are
located, outside from the portrait of the fat lady. Go
up to it and press Square. Inside will be a Famous
Witches and Wizards card [Merlin].
House Cup - Although you may think you have lost at the
end of the game, defeat Voltamort to win the House Cup.
House Points - Shoot spider webs and anything else with
a glowing sparkle above it to get House Points.
Blue Beans - When you go through the tunnel doorway
after passing the well where the boy is looking for his
kitten, you will see a yellow bouncing Puffskein. If you
lead him to the brown prickly bushes [do not touch
them], it will eat and start popping out Blue Beans.
Owl shop - When in the Owl shop on Diagon Alley and
feeding the owl, be careful of the owls flying around
the one you are trying to feed. If they get near the
food, they will eat it in midair causing you to start
over.
Go flying - When you are trying to knock Trolls down
wells with Hose Puffer things that make them sneeze, you
can go flying/ Throw one of those at them when they are
over the well to make them sneeze. Before they sneeze,
run over and stand next to them on the gate. They will
fall down the well and you will go flying in the air
before landing back on the ground.
No chasing Malfoy - Win the Quidditch cup at the main
screen before you start a new game. You will not have to
chase Malfoy for the Rememberall.
Sloth Brain for Snape - First, get the Fire Seeds for
Hagrid, which will open the gate behind his hut. Go
through the gate and follow the path until you find Ron
Weasly. Follow him to the Quiditch Pitch. While he is
talking, Neville Longbottom will appear. Ron will say
Hey, here comes Neville. He looks quite upset. Best go
see what he wants. Harry will go to Neville
automatically. He will say Malfoy stole my Rememberall
and ran onto the school grounds with it. Harry will
automatically follow Neville. Malfoy will speak and you
must defeat him. He will speak again and throw the
Rememberall and Harry will catch it. Professor
McGonnagal will appear and speak about Quiditch. You
will go to the Quiditch Pitch where Ron, Hermione, and
Hagrid will wish you good luck. Once you finish Quiditch,
you will run into Snape who tells you about the missing
Sloth Brain. He will confiscate your Quiditch Through
The Ages book and a map will fall out. Walk over to the
map and Ron will appear and speak. After that, you will
follow him to a gate. He will unlock it and you will
walk inside. Once inside, go straight and turn left to
the Puffapod Patch. Ron will speak. Next, you need to
find the tunnel that leads to a Venomus Tentacular.
Defeat the Tentacular and proceed. You will find a
lever. Use the lever and return to the Puffapod Patch.
The door behind it will now be unlocked, Enter the door
and defeat the Horklumps. The Sloth Brain is past the
Horklumps on a tree stump, Pick up the Slot Brain and
jump to the bush in front of you. Jump off the bush and
you will be near the lever from earlier in the area. Go
to the gate and return to Hogwarts.
View game completion - When defeat Voltamort the game
credits will begin. Try to go back to your saved game.
Although you cannot start it again since Voltamort was
defeated, the game will display the percentage that was
completed.
Unlimited Advanced Flipendo - Start more than one game
and save them. In one of the saved games, get Advanced
Flipendo by collecting one hundred Red Bertie Botts
Beans. Go to a save game book. Save it, then go back in
the book. Save on the others. You should have the
Advanced Flipendo on the other games.
