The Grinch Walkthrough - By Cabdriver524 |
Level Skip - Go to the gadget screen and press X while
holding R1.
Modify the mayors statue - You have to have the
sculpting tools. You have to turn off the security
around the statue first. Breathe on the invisible fence
and it will appear green so you can see it. From there
you can now do 2 jumps and hit the security button and
shut it off and sculpt away.
Downtown whoville - If you can't figure out how to get
inside the clock tower (030), use the rocket pack to
boost up inside and he will grab onto the handle and
open that overhead door.
Downtown - Don't forget even though you can shoot the
people and get presents, you should also breath on them
to get goodies also.
In the post office walls there are holes that say that
you are too big. Use max to fit in there and to open the
doors so that you may shuffle the mail. Door 5 must be
opened last.
When the dancing kid is chasing you, just runaway. Don't
jump though and he will leave.
Open the Town Hall - Shoot the clock with your egg
launcher.
Blue Prints in Town Hall - Go to bottom level and pull
out three of the rugs on the wall, you will notice them
from the size difference.
Cog puzzle:
1st Floor - In the clock tower push the levers until the
trap door opens 2nd Floor - Push the brown block onto
the dropped platform and then activate the switch again.
3rd Floor - First pull the block back and climb on top.
Push the big red cog into the wall. Now put the block
onto the platform. Move levers to work the lower
spindle. Now work the upper spindle.
Ice steps at who forest - Be careful because they
disappear so make sure you get the blueprint on the
ledge to the right and so far there is no way to get the
ice steps back.
4th Floor - Send Max into bedroom and grab hammer.
[Important] Check the sequence of colored bells on the
wall chart. Power jump up to the bells in sequence.
Smack bell ringer over head to finish.
Presents - Behind the snowy walls there are at least two
presents. You will need the rocket launcher found in
level two. On top of the Whoville town Christmas tree
there is another present. Whoforest - To make the trees
droop breath on them.
When you get up those swing poles shoot the target on
the house on top of the tree, will lower
a elevator
How to avoid the lasers on the statue - Unlock the
lasers on the statue in the City Hall by using the
Grinch's bad breath.
Tips:
To jump onto swinging bars, you'll have to get right
over the shadow of the bar.
You can't get all the presents in a world when you first
enter it, so be sure to go back to previous locations
once you get nifty new gadgets.
Avoid attacking Whos whenever possible and tag them from
a distance with the egg gun. But be quick, since the
stunning effect is very temporary.
In the Whoville post office, you can't reach Room 5
using Max, so hit the first four rooms first.
