Easy race win - Have good acceleration and send the
other car in to the back of pedestrian cars.
Easy money - On the course, an easy way to earn more
money in races is to make it longer. For example,
tailgating and bumper-gating. The best place on the map
to do this is on the long straight. Make sure you have a
car that gets up and goes though. When you challenge
someone, stay behind them, then get in front of them.
The downside is that most of your battle SP will be
gone, however you will get more money faster.
Win $3 million - Defeat the Speed King to get $3 million
and unlock the Skyline car for purchase.
Win $5 million - Defeat White Charisma to win $5 million
Gaining mileage - If your mileage is low and you need to

Speed King's car:
Recommended gear ratios:
The best way to set the gear ratios on the Speed King's
car (Nissan Skyline) is as follows.
1: 5.01
2: 3.29
3: 2.20
4: 1.70
5: 1.23
6: 0.85
Final: 2.06
To defeat Speed King, use R33 with special tuning:
Steer: +10
Acceleration: +13
Braking: +14
Brake Balance: 0
Ride Height: -14
Gear Ratio: Default except final gear: 3.03
Spring Rate: +10 front and rear
Damper: -12 front and rear
Turbo Boost: 1.40
Level 7 engine upgrade, and extra body mods - Put over
1800 miles on one car and unlock extra parts for that
car only. Putting the miles can be done simply by racing
once and then leaving the game on the post race menu...
if the controller is left alone the car will remain in
Auto pilot and the car will rack up the miles. I found
it to be successful when i left my PS2 on over night
like this, and quickly racked up the miles. It should be
noted that after 1800 miles you are not notified about
the new upgrades, rather they are simply unlocked in
their respective categories. For example the speed
king's car can have a max of 1258HP when the boost is
cranked up to 2.00 When scrolling through the rivals
list you can see that some of the cars you have
previously beaten have horsepower levels that exceed
those which are currently attainable with the max
upgrades purchased.
