Sonic 1 Level Select -
At the title screen enter up,down,right,left,then hold square and press
start
Level Select -
up, up, up, down, down, down, left, right, left, right
Sound Test -
up, up, up, down, down, down, left, right, left, right
Super Sonic -
Do the level select code. Then while in the level select menu, go to
sound test, and play 04, 01, 02, and 06. As soon as you hit 06, you will
hear the jingle for chaos emeralds. Now just pick a level, collect 50
rings and jump.
Ristar Codes -
At The Options Menu Go to The Password Menu and input these codes.
Unlocking hidden games: You must accumulate 30 hours
of game time for each game. When you are playing a game (for example,
Sonic the Hedgehog), you can go to the sub menu and select "Save Game".
Once you do this, your game save window shows a time (for example,
12:04:15). That time is the amount that you have accumulated. Once it
reads 30:00:00 or above, games will begin to unlock, depending on which
Genesis game it is. Unlocking all games can be done over a period of only
a few weeks. When you start up your first game, you can if desired leave
it at the title screen then allow the PlayStation2 to idle there for the
entire day. The game will still accumulate the hours, even though it is
just running the title screen. When you need to exit out of the game, make
sure to save the game before exiting. The amount of time accumulated time
will be labelled in the save window. Repeat the process for the rest of
the Genesis games. Note: The Ooze and Comix Zone can be unlocked by having
a saved game file from Sonic Heroes on your memory card; or alternately
playing all games for a total of 30 hours.
Remove border: Press R3 to remove the black border around the games.
In-game hints: Select any game and start it. Allow it to idle while
the game is actually running. After a certain amount of time is
accumulated, you will unlock the in-game hints for that particular game.

Round Select in Sonic Spinball - Go to Options and press
Square, down, X, down, Circle, down, Square, X, up, Square, Circle, up,
X, Circle, and up. After this, hold down the Square button and press
Start on the title screen to play from Round 2. Simultaneously press X
and Start to play from Round 3. Finally, simultaneously press Square and
Start to play from Round 4.
Sonic 2. Level Select and Super Sonic !
Level Select: Go to options, then go to sound test. Play 19, 65,
09, 17. After you hit 17 you should hear a ring sound. After that press
start, hold square. As soon as the menu shows up, keep holding square
and press start on one player.
Sonic 3 Level Select and Debug Mode
Level Select: During the time it takes for Sonic to load in the
beginning, press 'up, up, down, down, up, up, up, up' on the D-Pad.
(Note: This is hard to do, but you'll get it right eventually.) If you
did this correctly, you can scroll down past the 'Competition' selection
on the menu, and you will get an "Options" menu.
Debug Mode: On the 'level select screen', go to any stage of your
choice, hold down the button that is the 'A' button for the Sega
Genesis, and press start.
