Power Turns:
Power Turns can be accomplished if tap the brakes once
before entering a sharp turn and quickly down-shift.
This will cause you to drift without fanning very far.
When you are ready to come out of the drift and you are
pointing where you want to travel up-shift and turn
slightly against the drift.

| The farther
you get through the game in one player, the more face
off races will open. There are four races in all. The
first car you race and (hopefully) win is the roadster.
Next is the saloon GT. After a few more wins in one
player, you open up face off 3. Your opponent is a big
rig tow truck! He may not be fast, but he can plow
through most of the traffic with ease. The last face off
is against a city bus. Easy win. |
Unlock Face
Off Mode - Successfully complete [Championship Mode]
once. Now you can race in "Face Off Mode" against the
Roadster.
Unlock Roadster - Defeat the Roadster in "Face Off Mode"
and any other car in "Face Off Mode".

Ending bonuses
- Successfully complete the game to unlock the Free Run
mode (no vehicles on the road), Free Run Twin mode (two
player Free Run), and Credits options.
Towtruck - Play in championship mode until you unlock
Face Off number 2 in the special options screen. Defeat
the Towtruck once to unlock it.
Increase boost - Drive on the wrong side of the road to
keep increasing your boost. This can also be done by
driving in the center of a double lane. |
