2 Player mode resurrection:
When in 2 player mode one of you will eventually die, so
just run to the nearest save. See the ring of light
around it? walk into the light! It automatically brings
your dead player back to life, It's ALIVE!!!

Cheat Mode - Hold R2 + L1 + Left + Triangle then press
Start during game play. A cheat menu with
"Invincibility", "Level Warp" options will be unlocked.
Duplicate items - Save the game, then drop the items to
be duplicated from the inventory of your current
character. Press Start and choose change your character.
Import your character from the previously saved game.
The game will bring in your character with all items in
inventory at the time of your save, and allow you to
collect the duplicates that are on the ground.
Resurrection in multi-player mode - If a player dies
during multi-player mode, have the surviving player go
the previous save point. Then, press Square (Use)
repeatedly with the deceased player's controller. The
character will be resurrected with all items, but at
half hit points.
More money - Go thru the game a good distance... Then
when you have some good items, start a new game and
character. Import old character strip him/her of all
items, then pick em up with new character. It makes
beginning of game a lot easier, and you can do it over
and over!
Extreme mode - Successfully complete The Gauntlet level
to unlock the extreme difficulty setting.
Play as Drizzt - Successfully complete the game under
the extreme difficulty setting.
Super character - Hold R2 + L1 + Left + R3 then press
Start during game play. Your character will now be at
level 20 and have access to all feats. Your character
will also have level 1 feats on all class dependent
feats and 75,000 more gold pieces.
The Gauntlet level - Successfully complete the game
under any difficulty setting.
Make extra items! This is kind of an in-game thing, and
it can get pretty tricky, since the game will not allow
two players to have the same race. Anyway, if you find,
say, a Ring of Protection +3 (or something similar), and
you want to make another one to sell or to wear, here's
what to do. 1. Save the game with the character that has
the item you want to duplicate (say it's the elf) 2.
Start a new game with a character of a different race
than the character who possesses the item you wish to
duplicate (make a new human character, for example) 3.
Import the character with the item as a second character
in the new game (bring the elf into play with the human)
4. Give the items to the new character (give the items
from the elf to the human) 5. Save the new game on a NEW
FILE! Do not overwrite the game where you have your one
character! (Don't overwrite the 1 player game with just
the elf) 6. RESET the PS2. Do not attempt to load the
other game...it will overwrite your characters if you
do. 7. Load your one player game, and then import the
"new" character who just received all of the items (Load
the game with just the elf, and import the human
character you had just made, who is carrying all of the
extra items). 8. Give the "old" character all of the
items again (Give the original elf all of the items that
she had given to the human before. She should now have
two of those items). 9. Save the game over the previous
two player save you had made. 10. RESET the PS2 again.
Load the one player game again (Load the original elf
yet again). 11. Upload the same character from the
two-player game as your new player in the one-player
game. That character will have all of the duplicated
items (upload the elf from the two-player game as the
first player in the old game. It will overwrite the old
elf character with the new one that has the duplicate
items). You can use this trick to bring high power
weapons and armor from the end of the game to the start
of the game. You can have a first-level arcane archer
with a bow from Hades, or the Onyx Sword. The
possibilities are endless. -Gandalf
Unlock Drizzt Do'Urden:
Hold R2 + R1 + L1 + L2 while selecting your character.
However, you cannot load a saved game using Drizzt until
you've unlocked Extreme Mode.
Level 20 Character and 75000 Gold: When in play mode,
press L1, R2, Triangle, Left D-Pad, R3 and start at same
time to instantly make your character 20th level, with
75000 gold, 1000 Health and 1000 Mana, and a minimum of
1 in every feat, including other character specific
feats. The downside is that your character does NOT gain
any further experience points while playing, and is
stuck at 20th level, with low level feats. The normal
character max is 40th level.
To get Drizzt - First, start a new game. Then when
selecting a character hold L1 L2 R1 and R2, then pick a
character. If you did this right, you should be Drizzt,
but not the guy you selected at first. If it doesn't
work, try selecting the first guy (I only tryed with
him).
Unlock Gauntlet Mode: To unlock Gauntlet mode, complete
the game once on any difficulty.
Unlock Extreme Mode: To unlock Extreme Mode, simply beat
Gauntlet Mode.
Quick Level Up: At the beginning of the game press down
and hold R2 L1 Left d-pad triangle and Start to access
the cheat menu. Then turn Invincibility on and use Level
Warp to transport yourself to "the gauntlet" level.
Advance as much as you possibly can without running out
of time. This level has pretty good monsters to hack and
slash and gain lots of experience and gold. But
remember, before you run out of time Level Warp yourself
again into the Tavern. Keep transporting between the
Tavern and the gauntlet until you reach whatever level
you want. Once you gain enough levels you could probably
make it all the way to the end where an Iron Golem is
waiting for you. If you kill it not only you receive
tons of exp's but also you can pick up the Onix Sword
for some massive damage and if you are running short of
gold you can sell this sword for over 98,000 gold
pieces.
Play as Drizzt: To unlock Drizzt this is what you need
to do: 1- Finish the game.
2- After the credits you will play an additional level (
the gauntlet ) as Drizzt. DO NOT SAVE during this level.
3- Once you finish the gauntlet level you will unlock
the "extreme" difficulty level.
4- Beat the game again in "extreme" difficulty.
5- Import Drizzt into a new game.

Fast Level Up And Cash - First activate the
invincibility cheat, then level warp to the bthrone
level and kill the boss there. This gives 2000 exp per
kill. then level warp to Towerh level and go down the
stairs to tower4. You will appear next to an iron giant,
kill it and get 7000 exp plus an onyx sword. Then level
warp back to bthrone and kill the beholder again. Keep
repeating until you get the required level. Also, you
can sell the onyx sword for 98000 gold.
