Get Extra Money -
1 Start a new game
2 When you get the map, don't build your Company Head Quarters but zoom
out until you can't zoom out any more.
3 Find yourself a piece of land that is on sea level.
4 Build a tunnel from sea level. When the tunnel cost you more then 3 the
amount of money is not subducted from your account but is added to your
account. Note that this amount can change in other versions, so experiment
with a long piece of land.
Squeeze a company -
1 When a company is about to go out of business and they want you to buy
it, say no.
2 Then immediately click on their window and buy 75% stock. Do Not Close
That Window!
3 months after the company dies, sell the stock. It is worth millions.
4 This has crashed on my system many times, so save the game before the 3
month period is up.
Sabotage your opponents -
To ensure that your opponents do not make any money by means of road
transportation, locate a particularly lucrative road route belonging to
the computer, find a bit where the road goes straight, lay a bit of
railway track over and bulldoze it down. Then quickly build a railroad
track in continuation (same direction) as the road, and the computer is
truly helpless!
To ensure that your opponents don't make money by means of railroad
transportation, locate a station of your opponent, build a railway depot
on the other end of the station. Now build a Jinty class steam engine and
wait until the train of the opponent is in the station. Now let your train
move and BOOM!!! a explosion destroying both your Jinty class steam engine
and the opponents train.
