Improving statistics  -  You need the Cheat II program. Cheat II is available at Info-Mac/game/.

Open Dungeon Master 2. Save the game and pause.
Open Cheat II and select 'Dungeon Master 2'.
If you want to improve stamina, mana or health then pick the 'integer' function. Else pick the 'Byte' function. Click on 'Start Over'.
Go back to DM2, pick a character you want to improve and look at the statistics you wish to improve. (Strength, for instance). The statistic should say something like 46/46.
Go back to Cheat II and under the 'Search For' section, input the number on the right. Click on 'Search'. This might take a few seconds.
When Cheat II is done, go back to DM2 and raise a level with that character that will improve the pertaining statistic. (i.e. To raise Strength, raise a Fighter level).
As soon as the character raises a level, look at the statistic. If the number on the right has improved, make a note and immediately pause. Do this step quickly.
Go back to Cheat II and input the new right-hand number in the 'Search For' section. Press 'Search'. Now, it might not find it immediately the first time. That's okay. Sometimes it takes a few times. Do not press 'Start Over'.
If it did not find it this time, repeat steps 6 to 8.
When Cheat II has finally found the right number, don't change anything, go back to DM2 and reload the saved game without saving the current one.
Go back to Cheat II and input the new value for the stat in the 'New Value' box and press 'Change'.
Go back to DM2 and save the game again.
Go back to Cheat II again and press 'Start Over'. Now you can repeat steps 4 to 11 for each stat for each character if you wish.

These procedures have to be repeated for each character individually. One Strength cheat will not work for all four characters.
