S1 weapon:- Successfully complete the first group of four levels in
survival mode. The S1 helps your MP regenerate.
S2 weapon:- Successfully complete the second group of four levels in
survival mode. The S2 helps you move faster.
S3 weapon:- Successfully complete the third group of four levels in
survival mode. The S3 helps your HP regenerate.
S4 weapon:- Successfully complete the first group of four levels in
expert survival mode.
S5 weapon:- Successfully complete the second group of four levels in
expert survival mode.
S6 weapon:- Successfully complete the third group of four levels in
expert survival mode. The S6 gives you unlimited MP.
Expert survival mode:- Successfully complete the game in survival mode.
M1 Rune - Complete the game on the easy
difficulty setting to unlock the M1 Rune.
M2 Rune - Complete a versus mode match with four human players to unlock
the M2 Rune.
M3 Rune - Complete the game on the normal difficulty setting to unlock
the M3 bonus.
M4 Rune - Complete ten co-op matches to unlock the M4 Rune.
M5 Rune - Play twenty matches in multi-player versus mode that are not
cooperative count to unlock the M5 Rune.
M6 Rune - Complete twenty co-op matches to unlock the M6 Rune.
M7 Rune - Play fifty matches in multi-player versus mode that are not
cooperative count to unlock the M7 Rune.
M8 Rune - Complete story mode on the hard difficulty setting to unlock
the M8 Rune.
M9 Rune - Complete the game with all four characters on any difficulty
setting to unlock the M9 Rune. Hard
survival mode: Successfully complete the game in survival mode.
M10 Rune: Play versus mode one hundred times.
Play as Captain Dax: Successfully complete the game in survival mode
under the beginner difficulty setting.
Play as Raja: Successfully complete the game in survival mode under
the intermediate difficulty setting.
Play as Mariah: Successfully complete the game in survival mode
under the advanced difficulty setting.
Play as Kai: Successfully complete the game in survival mode under
the beginner difficulty setting in hard mode.
Che Sun technique: Hold Y and lock on to at least 15 enemies. You
must select Shiga. Then, release Y and B simultaneously to do a Che Sun.
Kadi Qua technique: Press A(3) then rapidly press X. You should
release a Kadi Qua.
Shiga: Shidoka of Forever: Keep attacking with A(2), Y normal.
Repeat until your enemy is dead.
Shiga: Shidoka normal: Attack enemy with A(2), X to perform a
Shidoka Ki blast
Shiga: Easy win: Keep attacking normally with your sword. Do two
hits then do a direct spell. Go close to the enemy and repeat until your
enemy is dead.
Thirtriixo technique: The best known move in the game is a
Thirtriixo. Press X while having full magic, the rapidly press B to
release a Thirtriixo. A red tornado will kill everyone on the screen
(except friendly characters).
Easy hits: When in in a mission with no allies to fight with you,
run around so that your enemies will chase you. When you are surrounded by
plenty of enemues, unleash your S magic. You should make about 100 to 200
hits.
Charge magic: Hold R + Y to charge magic. Note: This may sometimes
charge health.
Battle at Mystic Castle shortcut: Once you have opened the two side
doors at the start of the stage and completed the left side, there is a
shortcut. Go through the right door and you will be immediately confronted
by enemies. Use a Jump spell at the correct moment to land on the platform
that takes you to the stairs.
Multi-player mode: Easy kills: When at full magic, all players
should press X simultaneously. This releases a huge attack that kills all
enemies on the screen. Note: Have players use different magic types for a
better attack (fire and wind, etc.).
Character recommendations: Naja is the strongest with close range
combat (A attacks) and can charge magic (hold X + R) about two to three
times faster than any other character. Regardless of her stats, she also
has relatively strong magic and she is the fastest person. Her only
drawback is that in story mode, the Bosses are more difficult.
Shiga is strong, but not as strong as Naja. He is fast and his magic is
also acceptable (Tornado magic recommended). He is fast and this is a good
advantage.
Tai is good at close range, but not as good as Naja. His magic is also
second best. However, he is slow.
Lani has the best magic and has relatively good speed but she has the
worst attack.
