Get the Alarm clock in the first chapter! -
During anytime in the game except start screen or cut scenes, plug a
controller into the 3rd slot of the gamecube. Using that controller
press Up on the control pad and you will have an alarm clock without
being in chapter 2 and befriending Grant.
Get tons of random items in the game! -
While the game is on and be anywhere in the game except for the start
screen or cut scenes, have another controller plugged into the 3rd slot
on your gamecube. This can be done simply by unplugging your 1st
controller and plug it into the third controller slot. During gameplay,
press Z on the 3rd controller. You will get a random amount of items in
random quantities in your backpack, moreover, you will get 99 of all
tools and records for sure. If you do not like your items, simply repeat
the process and you will get a different amount of items everytime!

Unlockable items -
The hoes and sickles that can be unlocked requires you to get the great
field cleared before you can obtain them. The great field can be
obtained during chapter 2.
The fishing rod can only be obtained in chapter 2 or later.
The seed maker can be obtained from Daryl until Takakura offers you the
option to order the seed maker.

Get TONS (and I mean it!!) of money easy! -
Have your game on and be anywhere in the game doing anything (as long as
you're not on the start screen or another screen that shows you your
money... you cant actually watch it rise.). Have another controller
plugged into the 3rd slot on your gamecube. While playing have either
you or someone else repeatedly press start on the other controller. If
it works each time you press start you get 10000 gold! You can do this
multiple times! Be careful not to get too much money or else even though
it will say you have large amounts of money, the game will register you
as having no money at all.
