Glitch:
'Ghost' Corner Okay, so far I've only been able to get this to work with
Jade as the opponent on the Bank RoofTop level, but here's a pretty
screwed up problem:
Back Jade into the far left corner, so that she's completely against the
left wall underneath the Gargoyle. Now, without pressing Run, but still
pressing against her, try and attack. Your moves will go right through
her.
Glitch:
Easy Boss Fight - Motaro When you fight Motaro, he'll be in Scorpion's Pit
area. Move right so that you're directly in
front of the background skull tower and crouch. Motaro should try and
throw a fireball at you, causing it to miss.
Whatever you do, do NOT move. He will either try again, or warp. Once he
warps, there's a 50% chance that he'll warp right in
front of you. If he does, perform the uppercut move and you'll knock him
back. Immediately go back to crouching. He'll repeat his motions, which
means you should follow suit.
Repeat until he's defeated.
Glitch: Easy Boss Fight - Shao Khan Cyrax Tip: In this version, the old'
Khan is susceptible to Cyrax's Net and Bombs. For a super easy win, just
keep tossing out his forward bomb, and when Khan goes to block, it will
hit his legs, knocking him down.
Repeat till he's beaten.
Glitch: Easy Win - All Characters The artificial intelligence of the
computer isn't that great, and there's a sweet way to manipulate it to
your advantage. Although the starting motion varies, here's the basics of
the glitch:
1. The game allows for infinite Run power, so make sure you have your
finger on that button at all times.
2. Knock the opponent around, and after each hit, hold the Run Button and
keep pressing against them. Eventually something will
cause the opponent to start backing up. When they begin to move, follow
after them with the Run button depressed. You should be
able to back them all the way into the corner.
3. Once there, press the Attack Buttons alternately in a quick motion (A,
B, A, B, A, B, etc.), and the opponent will do nothing to retaliate,
allowing you to perform an infinite combo and a quick victory.
The glitch shows up in Easy Mode the most, so practice in there and see if
you can figure out the 'key' that opens up the glitch.
Unlock and Use (Character): Easy Mode If you'd like to use one of the
hidden characters and not have to fight all the way through the game, use
the GameShark Advance Code of "No Health P2". This will cause the computer
controlled opponent to drop defeated both fights.
You can leave the system play itself (unless you'd like to do the
fatality) until the credits roll. Once that's done, turn off the code and
you'll be able to play with that character in a normal game.
And no, there is no way to save the character to the cartridge. Unlock and
Use Human Smoke Beat the "Warrior" ranked Tower in
the 'Choose Your Destiny' Screen. When you start a new game afterwards,
Human Smoke will be available when you roll over the
Mystery Square.
Unlock and Use Motaro Beat the "Master" ranked Tower in the 'Choose Your
Destiny' Screen. When you start a new game afterwards, Motaro will be
available when you roll over the Mystery Square.
Unlock and Use Shao Khan Beat the "Supreme Master" ranked Tower in the
'Choose Your Destiny' Screen. When you start a new game afterwards, Khan
will be available when you roll over the Mystery Square.
