Advance Wars For the Game Boy Advance Guide - Written

To enter Advanced campaign(that haichi dude tells you
about this)(ive never tried this jus read about it) Hold
select while selecting a new advance wars campaign to
enter Advance campaign. its suppose to be harder.

Quickly
finish Field Training - Select the final battle in Field
Training. Win that battle to quickly unlock all options
that normally require Field Training to be completed.
Deleted saved games - Hold L + Right + Select when
turning on the Game Boy Advance.
Clear Data - To erase all saved game data the easy
way, turn on your Game Boy Advance and press and hold
right, L and Select at the same time. Be careful that
you don't accidentally delete your data, though.
Special Intel - After you have finished the Field
Training missions (and in the course opened up the War
Room, Campaign, Design Maps and Stats features), go back
into Field Training. A very short tutorial called
Special Intel is now available that gives you extra
gameplay tips.
Unlock New COs - Beating the regular campaign will
unlock Olaf as a playable CO in Vs. and Link Mode, but
you can also get some of the other COs as well. The only
problem is that you have to pay for them and certain
conditions have to be met to unlock them. Check the
Battle Maps room after you beat the Campaign mode -- and
Hachi will offer COs for sale (for 50 coins, so save
up). Here are the conditions that have to be met to
unlock certain COs:
Olaf: Unlocked after beating Campaign Mode
Grit: Beat Campaign Mode and use Max in Mission 4. Buy
from Hachi for 50 coins.
Eagle: Beat Campaign Mode and use Sami for missions 15,
16, 17, 18, then beat secret mission 22. Buy from Hachi
for 50 coins.
Kanbei: Beat Campaign Mode. Buy from Hachi for 50
coins.
Drake: Beat Campaign Mode. Use Andy for missions 15, 16,
17, and 18. Buy from Hachi for 50 coins.
Sonja: Beat Campaign Mode. Beat Mission 9 in 8 days (or
less), Mission 10 in 10 days, Mission 11 in 12 days,
then beat the secret missions 12, 13, and 14. You can
then buy Sonja from Hachi for 50 coins.
Sturm: Beat Campaign Mode and unlock all other COs. You
can then buy Sturm from Hachi.
Hints:
Drake:- Use Andy to win the Captain Drake, Naval Clash,
Wings Of Victory, and Battle Mystery missions in
campaign mode. Drake can be bought for 50 coins at the
Battle Maps screen after the campaign is over.
Eagle:- Use Sami to win the Captain Drake, Naval Clash,
Wings Of Victory, and Battle Mystery missions in
campaign mode. Then, win the Rivals battle. Eagle can be
bought for 80 coins at the Battle Maps screen after the
battle is over.
Grit:- Use Max to win mission 4 in campaign mode. Grit
can be bought for 50 coins at the Battle Maps screen
after the campaign is over.
Kanbei:- Successfully complete campaign mode under the
normal difficulty setting. Kanbei can be bought for 50
coins at the Battle Maps screen after the campaign is
over.
Nell:- Get an "S" rank in advance campaign and war room
modes. Nell can now be bought at the Battle Maps
screen.
Sonja:- First, win the "Kanbei Arrives" mission in less
than 9 turns; the "Mighty Kanbei" mission in less than
11 turns; and the "Kanbei's Error" mission in less than
13 turns to unlock the bonus Sonja missions. Win the
bonus Sonja missions in campaign mode. Sonja can be
bought for 60 coins at the Battle Maps screen after the
campaign is over.
Strum:- Unlock Grit, Eagle, Drake, Kenbei, and Sonja.
Strum can be bought for 100 coins at the Battle Maps
screen.
Stop enemy from building:- Place a medium tank or any
other troop type on an enemy building.
